Career / Recruiter Evidence

How Recruiters Can Evaluate a Delivery Portfolio

A strong delivery portfolio should reduce recruiter uncertainty quickly: fit, availability, credibility, domain relevance, and evidence of thinking.

Look for evidence of decisions

Good business analysis, product ownership, and delivery work is not only deliverables. It is decision quality under ambiguity.

Case studies should show what was unclear, what options existed, what tradeoffs were made, and what became shippable.

Look for usable outputs

A portfolio with working tools is different from a portfolio with claims. Tools show how the person structures problems and outputs.

The best signal is whether the tool would help a real team.

Check credibility without forcing private evidence public

Public recommendations, LinkedIn footprint, credentials, and anonymized case studies are fair signals. Private references can come later.

A candidate should not need to publish client names or confidential evidence to be credible.

Match role to problem

Some practitioners are strongest in discovery, some in delivery, some in operations, some in regulated environments. Recruiters should match the candidate to the delivery risk.

For CatalystAgile, the strongest evidence areas are regulated Banking, Financial Services and Insurance, requirements clarity, stakeholder alignment, and AI-assisted delivery workflows.

Use the fast path

I give recruiters a direct path: evidence wall, executive resume, recommendations, case studies, and contact.

That is intentional. It lowers friction and protects private references.
