Acceptance criteria

Testable conditions that define when a requirement or user story is complete and acceptable.

Business Analyst (BA)

A practitioner who clarifies business need, processes, requirements, constraints, risks and evidence so teams can make and deliver better decisions.

Product Owner (PO)

The person accountable for maximising product value by setting priorities, clarifying outcomes and making backlog decisions.

BRD

Business Requirements Document: a structured statement of business objectives, scope, requirements, assumptions, dependencies and acceptance expectations.

KYC

Know Your Customer: identity and due-diligence controls used by regulated financial institutions.

AML

Anti-Money Laundering: controls for detecting, preventing and escalating suspicious financial activity.

API

Application Programming Interface: a defined contract that lets software systems exchange requests, responses and data.

UAT

User Acceptance Testing: validation by business users or representatives that a solution works for its intended real-world use.

RTM

Requirements Traceability Matrix: a mapping from requirements to design, implementation and test evidence.

WSJF

Weighted Shortest Job First: a prioritisation method that compares cost of delay with job size.

RICE

A prioritisation method using Reach, Impact, Confidence and Effort.

AI workflow automation

Using AI inside a bounded, testable operating workflow with explicit inputs, controls, review gates and outcomes.
